The Velos sow feed station feeds individual sows in a group housing system. A Velos sow feed

station can be used stand alone or grouped.

The system consists of a power supply (VP2001), a controller (VP8001) and Reader motor
controls (VP1001). The motor controls are mounted on the feed station in a housing, called the
V-box. The VP1001 controls the in- and outputs on the feed station. The behaviour component
installed on the VP8001 defines which inputs and outputs can be connected to the VP1001.
CAN-communication is used between the controller and the motor controls. To access the web
server of the VP8001 an ethernet cable is used. This allows an easy access from more
computers and the internet worldwide.
